Tri-City Medical Center has nearly 500 primary care and specialty care physicians for you to choose from. We have profiles on each physician listed with our service which includes information about languages spoken, medical-school background and training, board certifications, hours of operation, how long in practice, health plans accepted, network affiliations and office locations.

The purpose of our service is to provide our customers with a profile of medical staff physicians based on your needs and preferences. Simply call (760) 940-5781 and let our representative know what type of physician you are looking for and your preferences. The computer system will search for appropriate physicians based on your request. Physician's names are given on a rotating basis and there is no fee paid by or to physicians, nor requested of the patient for this service. The participation of physicians is voluntary. You will receive a confirmation in the mail of the physician's name, addresses and phone numbers given to you over the phone.

Patient Transport Express

This service is provided free of charge to patients who need NON-EMERGENCY medical transportation from home to services provided at Tri-City Medical Center. For example, outpatient surgery, rehabilitation appointments, return to work after an Emergency Department visit for an on-the-job injury, discharged patients, imaging and MRI patients, pre-operative appointments and behavioral health services can take advantage of this service.

If the patient is a child or is someone requiring a caregiver, it is requested that the caregiver accompany the patient. A car seat will be provided for children under 40 pounds.
