The Beatrice Riggs French Women's Center offers clinical support and education services to women of all ages. The two-story 41,154-square-foot center offers beautiful labor and delivery rooms, state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment for women's health issues and unsurpassed care, counseling and community education.

Staffed with 15 OB/GYN physicians, 40 pediatricians, three neonatologists, 100 licensed RNs and LVNs, 35 support staff members, three lactation consultants, and obstetric anesthesiologists, the Women's Center is one of the most comprehensive in the region. In one year of operation, the landmark Center has provided over 12,000 mammograms to residents of San Diego County and delivers about 250 babies each month.

Breast Cancer - Answers for Women

Breast Cancer is the most common cancer among women. The Women's Center provides education in early detection as well as diagnosis and treatment for women with breast cancer. We add comprehensive education to onsite mammography and other advanced imaging procedures to support early detection. Specialized oncologists help women through diagnosis and treatment, and support groups help patients return to the world.

Women are particularly at risk for osteoporosis, and we are now seeing an increased number of women in their 40s and 50s suffering from osteoporosis, due to eating disorders or poor nutrition at an early age.
