Each patient at Tri-City Rehabilitation Center has special needs all their own. Our program is designed to help patients reach the highest level of independence possible while addressing individual therapeutic and family issues.
Patients are carefully evaluated and treated by professionals from a variety of specialized therapeutic disciplines. Under the direction of the physician, the treatment team includes the rehabilitation nurse, physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech/language pathologist, clinical social worker, dietitian and therapeutic recreation specialist.
Families are encouraged to become involved in every aspect during the rehabilitation process. The family plays a critical role in recovery by providing support, encouragement, and reassurance in re-establishing familiar routines. We are sensitive to each familys situation and concerns. Our counseling and family support services offer assistance in meeting these special challenges and concerns.
Tri-City Rehabilitation Center’s 2006 statistics indicate that more than 80% of our patients are able to return home after discharge, compared to a National benchmark of 75.8%. Statistics also show that the average length of stay is 14.3 days Region-wide, while the length of stay for patients staying in our facility averages 11.3 days. Patient satisfaction scores reveal a 100% willingness to recommend our Center to family and friends.
