Who We Are and What We Do

The Auxiliary provides service to the Tri-City Hospital District, its patients and staff, and assists the Medical Center in promoting the health and well-being of the community.

Members: The Auxiliary has more than 600 active members.

Hours of Service: Auxiliary members donate about 100,000 hours of service each year to Tri-City Medical Center.

Fundraising: Each year, monies generated by Auxiliary fundraising activities go toward the purchase of valuable medical equipment, facilities, and scholarships for college students.

Community Services Projects: Assisting with check-in and preparation for community education events several times per month.

Newborn services: Babies in the newborn nursery and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit receive baby caps and afghans knitted by auxiliary members.

"Baby Track" Program is a follow-up program designed to remind new mothers to schedule their babies for immunizations.

Communications with Care: Telecare volunteers telephone daily to "live-alones" who otherwise have limited contact with people.

Gift Shop: Our Gift Shop sells a variety of gifts, cards and flowers.
