Grant Applications Available To District Nonprofits

The Tri-City Healthcare District (TCHD) is accepting grant applications from nonprofit organizations serving residents of Carlsbad, Oceanside, and Vista. Excluded from consideration are other hospitals, hospital districts, and government agencies.

The grant requests must be for projects that promote the health and well-being of residents in the district and that speak to the priorities identified by Tri-City Healthcare District’s Board of Directors. These priorities include access to health care, nutrition, reducing obesity, preventing diabetes and heart disease, and promoting mental health.

To encourage innovative programs or new approaches that leverage existing networks and resources in creative ways, a portion of the available funding may be awarded to one or more projects in which Tri-City Medical Center collaborates.

Detailed guidelines and grant application may be obtained electronically at:

www.tricitymed.org/CHAC

Completed grant applications are due no later than 5:00 PM, March 6, 2015
