Flu Shot Clinic
Want to protect yourself against the flu?
Getting a yearly flu vaccination is one of the best options you currently have available to protect against the influenza virus, commonly known as the flu. While the flu vaccine effectiveness can vary from year to year, Tri-City Medical Center recommends it as the first step in protecting yourself from the flu and its potentially serious complications. Those who are at a higher risk – women who are pregnant, children, and the elderly – can reduce the negative effects of the flu and prevent flu-hospitalizations and deaths by simply getting a vaccination.
However, do keep in mind a flu vaccination does not guarantee protection against the flu. Some people who get the flu vaccine may still get sick depending on the type of strain they are infected with. Medical studies, however, support the fact that people who get a flu vaccine are less likely to get sick with flu than someone who does not get vaccinated.
Please note: We have limited quantities of the flu vaccine and will provide them on a first-come, first-served basis
