You benefit from rapid our door-to-balloon times, that average seven minutes, which is significantly faster than the national 90-minute standard. Your comprehensive care continues through any inpatient hospital stay, our medically supervised cardiac rehabilitation program and your return to the life you enjoy.

Tri-City Medical Center is designated by the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care (SCPC) as the first Accredited Chest Pain Center in San Diego County. This means your care begins when you call 9-1-1.
When an ambulance responds to a possible heart attack, Tri-City Medical Center receives the information from the call in real time. We activate, alerting our cardiovascular team to prepare for your arrival and meet you at the door. You get a precise diagnosis and rapid treatment for your condition in one of our interventional cardiovascular suites. If you need heart surgery, you have access to advanced technology and expert care in one of our cardiac-specific operating rooms.
